Vicoforte Sanctuary 16/03/2013

Yesterday I had idea to take some photos with my Sigma 12-24.
I stop at the sanctuary of Vicoforte with the intent to do some shooting in the churchyard and inside, but when I find out later that the gate is closed, strange is always open and you can enter freely.
However, I took this picture from the outside by choosing a square cut. I agree with you about the stories and photos.

I must say that the Sigma 12-24 is a very good lens distorts a little but it has a really good performance and an affordable price.

As I was about to pick up the camera a little disappointed there appears some men with a military-style collar that make their way to the church , they will likely have to do with the closed gate of the sanctuary .
And in fact it is so soon after there were also representatives of military associations of the area, including an old acquaintance , Captain John Reineri Villanova I had asked for the history of the aircraft.
Listening to two men talking to each other saying they would arrive at 15.30 the Duke Amedeo D'Aosta at the Mass for the 30th anniversary of the death of Umberto II .

In conclusion, a few photos, but definitely is not common to find in front of what may have been our king.
Strange day, if I can afford some personal considerations, I did not really mean all those political and military representatives in an official capacity (with the band or currency). I can understand reducistiche associations and the like, but not the actual things. Now, I think the monarchy belongs to our past and it is not practical right I wonder if it is expected to be some regulation for the arrival of a failed king should wear the armband. Indeed, the latter would mean that the person who wears it at that moment is representing all the mere mortals who voted for him. Another thing that I seemed to understand how widespread the nostalgic especially among law enforcement, I've never seen so many different official bodies together in these parts.
