Restoration Italian bayonet scabbard of World War I

From the attic of my great-grandparents I found this Italian bayonet scabbard of the World War I, unfortunately, as you can see has big holes due to the time and the tip is broken, fortunately in the dust was the missing piece.

First, it cleans well for the piece from dust and oxidation.
Then you start with the real restoration very slowly rusted iron pieces are stuck with Super Glue.

When the job is finished you cover the joints, which will certainly not perfect, with rusty iron powder.

To create this powder just stepping between two sheets of an old rusty sheet metal or the flakes that are detached during the first stage of cleaning.
A polished light with the dremel.

And finally brushed with Owatrol or fidoil.
