An american pin at the market flea

Sunday was the usual market, I did a quick tour due to bad weather, and quite frankly, because the cost of this time I did not really want to spend.

Finally I'm back at home with this object that was mixed with other pin of the fascist period and the seller has sold for € 7.

In the end I went well after all, is an American pin. is not ww2 but for a short period. We are in the year of the Korean War.

The sign is that of the Command armored troops, but could also be used for non-divisional armored units.

According to the regulations the "Lapel Pins" could only be used in civilian clothes, by which it dismissed were entitled to paid service. In some cases, however, they also went out of order on the uniform as a substitute fordistinguishing department, by units who did not boast of that.

The mark on the back indicates the manufacturer, Polk Sales Corporation of New York, this type of marking has remained in use until the 1953/1954 so it's definitely andtecedente to that period and after the Second World Waras the clip that during the war were screw.

I thank the members of the forum for telling mph properly identified.

Strange and mysterious as this item is over on a bench of a market in the province of Cuneo.
